What did you expect?
I feel I’m more of an intellectual artist and they’re kind of machine people. Everyone has their own backhoe up there, and their kids have A.T.V.’s and motorboats. And they all have guns, which scares me.
That little gem of snobbery is from a N.Y. Times article detailing the, ahem, travails of well-to-do city folk who purchase second homes out in the country only to discover that they’re too terrified to journey outside because there are bugs and stuff out there. Oh, the horror.
