Random Observations
Random observations from a week on the road:
A new Dodge Charger suited up as a State Police Interceptor is pretty badass. Conversely, as ugly as the Chrysler PT Cruiser is, Chevrolet’s blatant-Cruiser-ripoff, the HHR, is even more ugly. Those Buick Rendezvous are pretty ugly, too.
The upper arms of old ladies will never be attractive. Reminiscent of partially dessicated hotdogs left too long on the convenience store heating rack, yet somehow retaining a bloated, flaccid composition at the same time, these conglomerations of tissue look more suited as one of your little brothers’ gross-out items than the warm, caring limbs that gave you a hug when you were feeling down.
Spotted on the back of a beatup F-150 pickup, a bumpersticker proclaiming, and I quote: “Jobs are for people to [sic] stupid to fish.” I’m sure it was just a coincidence that this was next to a “Sportsmen for Bush” sticker.
If you are ever in Wheaton, Illinois, you owe it to yourself to stop by Muldoon’s Pub for a pint and a meal. You will not regret it. On the other hand, if rude staff, watered drinks and bland, overpriced Italian food is your game, Johnny D’s is your place.
Indiana makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

Unconstitutional
The president of the United States … has undisputedly violated the Fourth [Amendment] in failing to procure judicial orders. - U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor
A federal judge ruled today that the NSA’s warrantless domestic wiretapping (all done in the name of FREEDOM, of course) is unconstitutional and, as such, all related activities are to cease immediately. Presumably, said judge will shortly be removed from her post and all her rulings will be censured since she is obviously a friend of TERRAR.

Stuff
I just realized that I don’t have a search function for the blog. Also, there is no “home” link in the CSS. I fail at the usabilityness.
Things are a little hectic right now, I’m hoping to have some good news to share on Monday. Until then, these issues will have to wait.

25 Years
MTV has been around for 25 years. A quarter of a century. And I remember when it first started. Wow, do I feel old. Flashback to the good ol’ days at MfR.
