Break
Taking a weeks’ break or so. Spending some quality time with my Girlfriend and her daughter and feeling quite a bit like Wil Wheaton, I suppose. Anxious, nervous, blissfully complete and happy. It’s a wonderful feeling and I’m so happy to finally be at a point in my life where I can open my heart to it all and let the feelings run free.
As an aside to my faithful readers: fear not, GogBlog isn’t turning shoujo on you. Expect more fist shaking and good ol’ fashioned railing against The Man soon. My bleeding liberal heart cannot be stifled, even by this. (Although it’s a close match).

New Look
Updated WordPress today and have been playing with various themes. Yay. Installed the new and improved (and automated) backup plugin, too! ^^; Hi.

Spa(s)m
Had an absolute deluge of spam hit the comments over the weekend so I just wiped ‘em all instead of parsing through, looking for real content. My apologies if a legit comment was deleted (although if I were a betting man, I’d say the odds were with me that nothing real got deleted). Kind of interesting spam this time, not the usual advertisement crap for Viagra, diet pills, stocks, etc. but links to tons of different blogs. Has anyone else run into this?

Subliminal
The Bush Administration has already been busted for disseminating “covert propaganda” to US citizens, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped government agencies from trying to slip ideas into people’s unconciousness. Witness this packet of stamps that I recently purchased at the USPS:
