Do not eat iPod shuffle.
Do not eat iPod shuffle.
So says a disclaimer at the bottom of the page for Apple’s new iPod shuffle. It was announced today along with the Mac mini – both of which are so cute, I want to eat them – so apparently the warning is not without provocation. And they’re reasonably priced and spec’d – what on earth is happening at Apple? Why the hell am I using so many dashes in this post? Please make it stop.

MS DRM == pwned
As if you needed yet another reason to avoid Digital Rights Management-laden media, Microsoft is providing you with one. Seems that when Windows Media Player forces you to download a license to listen/watch a DRM-protected media file, you may be unknowingly allowing the installation of any number of viruses, trojans and other malware. Hmm. Maybe mp3 and divx/xvid aren’t so bad after all? [via Slashdot]
