Back
I’ve been away for a couple of weeks now, trekking across the midwest, collecting hotel bills, gasoline receipts and traffic citations all in the name of family. I’m still alive, if a little exhausted, so look for more stuff Soon(tm).

This guy is a freak. Almost as bad as the Stinky Feet/Meat guy (which, sadly, has appeared to have disappeared from the ‘net). Yeah, I know, it’s only vaguely amusing. Screw you and go eat some turkey or something.

I really need to stop going to bed so early. There was a stunning display in the sky last night and I was happily ensconced in dreamland. At least I got to be a viking.

Music (for robots) has posted a great mix of angry music for the disenfranchised today. If you’re feeling like I’m feeling about the election, you’ll grab these tracks and play them at high volume. Preferably in a residential neighborhood.

Well, it’s over. Kerry has conceeded the election to Bush. It’s truly staggering to realize how many ignorant people there are in this country.
I hope the next four years drag this country down so low that the general populace has no choice but to get off their asses and start educating themselves. Wake up, people. Things aren’t going to get any better. Rights and freedoms will continue to erode. The rich will get richer and everyone else will get poorer. Dan Gillmor echoes my thoughts much more eloquently than I can. Sadly, I now find myself hoping that the next four years will provide type of event necessary to cause the spark that finally ignites this country into revolution.
In parting, I’d just like to remind the billions of people on this planet who will continue to be alienated and bullied by the US government that half of us in this country can’t stand the asshole who sits in the Oval Office. He’s not our president.
