Listen Up

Certain individuals are currently conspiring to drown me in new music so I thought I’d return the favor. And, as an added bonus, this is a follow-up to a previous post on MP3 blogs. Viva la redux! Anyway, I just thought I’d take a moment to pimp a few blogs that I find to be compatible with my slightly skewed musical tastes.

Firstly, there’s the venerable FluxBlog which not only sports a banner that I’m insanely covetous of, but the proprietor has a simply fabulous ear for all things good and musical. Next up is Scenestars which cropped up several months ago and has continued to present some really good tunage. Finally, there is the somewhat infrequently updated WomenFolk which has shown some flashes of brilliance (and it plays host to one of my guilty little pleasures: the female vocalist). Hope he can keep up the good work.

So what are you doing just standing there? Get off your boomshackalacka and start discovering some new artists! (And, of course, if you like ‘em, be sure to support ‘em.)

Thanks for the comment on the banner! I could maybe be persuaded to extend my banner-making skills to other blogs, if the incentive is there (hint, hint).
